March Vintner's Dinner

Our Vintner's Dinners are very popular. They are 4-5 course meals with each course paired with a White Cross Cellars wine. The evening begins at White Cross Cellars with a wine tasting and appetizers at 6pm and then continues at the Ox Yoke Inn for the remaining 4 courses.
The Theme for our March Dinner is:
A meal inspired by classic dishes from the Communal Era
First Course– Inspired by the Old Amana Recipes
With open tasting of all our White Cross Cellars’ wines
Second Course-inspired by Amana Asparagus Soup
Asparagus Soup with Lemon and Parmesan
With White Cross Cellars’ Chateau Blanc
Third Course-inspired by Amana Dandelion Salad
Curly Endive with Bacon, Blue Cheese and Classic Amana Dandelion Salad Dressing
With White Cross Cellars’ Mittler Kabinett
Fourth Course-inspired by a traditional Amana Boiled Beef Dinner
Roasted Prime Rib of Beef accompanied by Classic Amana Creamed Spinach and Swiss style Rosti Potatoes
With White Cross Cellars’ Knight’s Red
Fifth Course-inspired by Rhubarb Pie
With White Cross Cellars’ Cranberry Bog
The cost is only $55.00/person and includes everything but the tip for the servers.

2015 Food and Wine Pairing 101
Learn the basics of pairing wines and food to make a great meal This tasting event will feature 7 White Cross Cellars wines paired with samples of different foods. You will learn how to select the best wine for each food.
The cost of this fun event is $10/person and includes a logo wine glass. Reservations are required. It is best to call White Cross Cellars in advance to reserve your spot as space is limited or you can spot by the day of the class and see if we have any openings.
We will start the pairings promptly at 6 pm
